Starchild's
Refund Policy
Starchild is confident that you will benefit from
using the services associated with them and their site.
However, in the event of an incorrect or erroneous
order, or other unforeseen consequence, with the
exception of typographical errors, you may be entitled
to a partial refund.
Should you discover an error in your order, please
contact Starchild IMMEDIATELY.
They may be able to stop the processing of your
order in time to make any adjustments or corrections.
Tarot and Astrology Reports
Due to the nature of these
type of computer ran reports, refunds are not possible
as Starchild is not responsible for any
typographical errors or inaccurate order information you
send. Please make sure your email address and all
information you enter on the order form are correct.
Professional Services
A five minute rule is in
effect. If you
or the reader either one cancels the reading or session
in the first five minutes you
receive a full refund. After the first five
minutes have passed, you may stop the reading at any
time and only be charged for
the amount of time in the reading (roughly
$2.00 per minute, but it depends on the reader).
Readings must be canceled in 24
hours or you **WILL** be
charged for the readers time.
A tape of the reading is made for the client. In
person client's get their tape for free.
Phone client's will need to be
charged an additional $2.00 for the shipping and
handling of the tape. Tapes are *NEVER*
a guarantee and you are not paying for
a tape with a reading on it, you are paying for the
staff members time. If your tape does not turn out well
do to mechanical malfunctions we may not be held
responsible for it.
Classes and Events
In order to receive a full
refund you must cancel 24 hours in advance of
the date the class or event is scheduled to run.
In order to attend a class you
must sign up at least 24 hours in advance of
the date the class is scheduled to run.
Should a teacher become ill or
is incapable of teaching a class you will
receive a store credit to be used for another class. If
a store credit is issued, customers have a 3 month
period of time to use the credit.
Merchandise
Damaged Merchandise
may be sent back for a replacements at no cost.
There will be no exchanges or returns for cash back.
Store credit only. If a store credit is
issued, customers have a three month period to use
credits and you must have a copy of the original
receipt.
Special Orders
All special orders require the
full amount to be paid in advance prior to
the order being placed. If for
some reason we are incapable of acquiring the
merchandise you have placed on special order,
you will be entitled to a store credit which must be
used within a 3 month period of time.
Please note: Special orders can take anywhere
from 2 to 6 weeks to locate and/or fill.
Layaway
Layaway is an in store only
service that is offered. Our layaway system requires a
customer's first and last name as well as two contact
phone numbers. An address may also be required.
Layaway requires 25% down and 25% paid per week
until the item is paid off.
If a customer misses more
than three weeks the merchandise will be returned to the
shelf and there will be no refund of any type offered.
We will make an attempt to contact customers prior to
returning the merchandise to the shelf if we notice they
have missed a payment. Customers have 24 hours to return
our contact call.
